Who's the textbook for?
Photographers who own (or are buying) the Photography for Beginners online course and want a hardback companion to study from. It's not a standalone book — it works hand-in-hand with the online modules, the tests, and the CPD certificate.
Why only 16 of the 18 modules?
The last two modules of the online course teach photo editing in Pixlr X — that's a hands-on screen demonstration with the software on your computer, which doesn't translate well to paper. Modules 1 to 16 (cameras, light, composition, the genres, finishing touches) all fit a printed format beautifully and are reproduced in full.
How do the online tests work with a printed book?
At the end of each chapter you'll find a QR code. Scan it with your phone or tablet and you'll be taken straight to that module's test inside your iPhotography account. Pass the test, your progress saves, and you're on the way to your CPD certificate — without ever logging into a laptop.
Can I just buy the textbook without the online course?
