Here are just a few of the comments from iPhotography students;

Wow from me aswell. What a wonderful image Roz and how lucky to be able to be so close to them. Looks like they are posing for their photo. I like the background colour and the bright red berries which complements the mice beautifully.

Gorgeous and they cooperated well for your image. Is this a place where you can handle them to create a certain scene or is this completely a moment of opportunity? Either way, WOW!!!! I love everything about it.

What an amazing image Roz! I love the way you’ve captured them all lined up on this hawthorn twig and looking at the camera – a remarkable achievement considering they’re so fast and active! I’d consider toning down the paler area in the background for the sake of complete perfection here.

Really like the angle and composition of this image Laura. It takes you right round the corner and through the carriages. The neutral colours work really well.

Fabulous image Laura. I love the colour, and composition and the exposure is perfect.

Great shot Laura. Love the tones, composition and the carriage leading on through the open door. Great to see the train still going strong. Remember being on this 35 years ago!

3. Angie Villers

Beautiful Angie.. so much detail in the lacey leaves. The background really sets it off… stunning

Simply beautiful Angie and the light is lovely! Well done!

I love how fragile it all feels and that the patterns contrast so nicely against the black background. I think this is screaming out for some macro shots too to really shot off the detail by getting in much closer

Angie, this is spectacular. You really got the texture of the stem and the beautiful and often unseen texture and color of it all. The blossom itself is sensually muted with your choice of DoF. Lovely!

Wow! Well done Angie. Fantastic detail.

Well done Angie.. so hard to do as I am finding but you have definitely nailed it!

Top 10 Photos of the Month March 2002 by iPhotography.com

Here are just a few of the comments from iPhotography students;

I like the little touch of the bronze frame around the edge, not something I see you do lots of but it just gives the image that refined and polished feel. It may not work with every image but I’m glad you chose a colour that fits with the tones in the shot too.

This is lovely Laura. I’m always attracted to photos that look through doors and arches and this is giving me both. Great composition and tones too.

Beautiful, serene image Laura. The light is gorgeous and, I agree, the bronze frame is an added bonus.

6. Noreen Lair

Here are just a few of the comments from iPhotography students;

Great image wonderful colors fun idea well done

Love the colours in this one and the little bubbles that have formed make you want to keep looking! Great set of images Noreen.

Catherine has been doing a similar project for the abstract competition like these Noreen, you’ve both done a wonderful job on the execution, really smooth shapes and lovely gradient of colour

7. Wendy Wills

Top 10 Photos of the Month March 2002 by iPhotography.com

Here are just a few of the comments from iPhotography students;

It looks like scraps of metal from gutters (you can tell I’ve been in the midst of major renovations for the past three months). In the thumbnail, I thought it was pyrite or tourmaline. Very intriguing.

An abstract mystery indeed Wendy! Well done,

Hmmm! looks like pieces of metal but really gets you thinking and definitely fits the abstract brief.

8. Jean Gilmour

Top 10 Photos of the Month March 2002 by iPhotography.com

Here are just a few of the comments from iPhotography students;

perfect little squiggles

This is a fab abstract Jean. Really love the colours and the squiggles!

Great abstract Jean, love the squiggly lines and the colours there are so many of them when you look closely, reminds me of some of the patterns of the 60/70s. Ops showing my age now!

9. David Allerton

Top 10 Photos of the Month March 2002 by iPhotography.com

Here are just a few of the comments from iPhotography students;

Beautiful action shot David. Well exposed. The composition is great with the bird coming straight for you. Great dark,background and foreground.

I think Carol has said it all.. stunning shot

Fantastic image David, really love that the bird is heading towards the camera like it’s spotted you and is desperately approaching, it makes the shot feel really engaging and very dramatic

10. Carol Fourie

Top 10 Photos of the Month March 2002 by iPhotography.com

Here are just a few of the comments from iPhotography students;

Beautifully positioned on the rule of thirds, this is a very well balanced photo, Carol!

Having the lighthouse framed against the dull waters gives a great contrast and makes it the obvious subject in the shot. Choosing the right angle for your subject is so important to help tell the story. I do like the warm red and yellow tones running through this shot

I like the composition of this shot Carol and the sharpness of the lighthouse. I do like the warm tones. Would like to see what it looks like with the lighthouse in more vivid tones as a contrast – maybe it would spoil the mood of the day??
