PLUS+ is the monthly side of iPhotography. It runs alongside the courses, not instead of them. SkillTrack™ Course lessons are members-only and they keep coming as long as you're a member. PLUS+ also gets you fortnightly video Photo Reviews from the tutor team, the private community, and the monthly challenges — none of which come with a one-off course purchase.

No. PLUS+ is open to photographers at any level — complete beginners welcome. SkillTrack™ Course starts at the basics and builds up, and the community is famously friendly to newcomers.

That said, if you're brand new and you want a single, structured course to go through first, Photography for Beginners is the one most people start with. You can absolutely do both.

On day 31 you're charged at the rate you picked at signup — £199.00 a year or £19.95 a month. That rate is then locked in for as long as you stay a member, even if we put our prices up later. Cancel any time after that in one click from inside your account.

The thing to know is that PLUS+ is built around a monthly rhythm — a new SkillTrack™ Course lesson drops each month, the Photo Reviews land every fortnight, and the more months you stay the more you'll have collected. The trial is the taster; staying on is where the real value adds up.

No — the paid courses (Beginners, Portrait, Landscape, Wildlife, etc.) are separate purchases. SkillTrack™ Course is the only learning track that's exclusive to PLUS+.

Most members do both: they take one or two paid courses to learn a subject in depth, and then keep PLUS+ running alongside for the monthly lessons, Photo Reviews and community. PLUS+ members also get brand partner discounts on the paid courses when they fancy adding one.

Every fortnight, the iPhotography tutor team picks a selection of photographs from what members have shared to the gallery and to the monthly challenge, and records video Photo Reviews walking through each one — on screen, in plain English.

It's not a private one-to-one Photo Review — you won't get a video on every photograph you upload. What you do get is a steady fortnightly drip of recorded Photo Reviews you can watch and rewatch, and members tell us watching someone else's photograph picked apart in detail is just as useful as having your own chosen. Every Photo Review stays in the members' library so you can come back to them any time.

You're in good company — the community is mostly people who started exactly where you are. Tutors and members are kind to beginners by default, and there are no public scrolls or public scores. Share when you're ready, lurk when you're not.

Yes — email us when you'd like to switch and we'll credit what you've already paid against the annual price. Most members try a couple of months first and then convert to annual once they know they're keeping it.

CPD is recognised across the UK as evidence of continuing professional development. For most PLUS+ members it's a quiet bit of pride rather than a career credential — but it carries genuine weight if you want to use it (teachers, healthcare professionals and creative-industry workers all log CPD hours).
