Photography workshop tours

Three things every tour delivers, every time.

A few minutes from one of our recent trips — the spots we shoot, the people you'll meet, and the way the days actually run.
Our Yorkshire tour is open for booking now. Our Leiden tour is fully booked — but spaces can occasionally free up, so it's worth keeping it on your radar.
Three days across the best of Yorkshire — the historic streets of York, the seaside town of Whitby, and the abbey ruins and water gardens of Fountains Abbey. One comfortable York base, no flights needed, and photographs you'll be proud of from the heart of the city right out to the sea.
Chase tulips, windmills and golden-hour canals with friendly guidance, easy travel days, and unforgettable Dutch photo stories. This tour is now fully booked — but spaces can occasionally free up, so it's worth keeping an eye on this one.
Here's where the F/65 Group is heading next. Dates are still firming up — register your interest and you'll be first to hear when each trip opens for booking.

A few words from photographers who've joined us on F/65 workshops and photo walks.
If you are on the fence about participating in any of the workshops… hop off the fence! First, the experience alone is worth every minute. Second, the education in helping to improve your ability is second to none. Third, you will build a bond with fellow group members and memories for a lifetime. I just returned (Florida, USA) from the London Workshop. That experience was so outstanding.
A massive thank you to Stephen and Rebecca for an amazing week. They provided a safe, encouraging environment for people of all different abilities to make their own levels of progress. It was an amazing experience and as a result I've booked on the next one.
It was an amazing week. We all learned so much in a supportive, encouraging environment. Stephen and Rebecca were excellent tutors — so patient and friendly. New friends, new skills — I can't wait to do it all over again. Thank you all so much for such a memorable week.
The variety of locations and different types of photography allied with the mixture of tutors. It provided the opportunity to learn about a wide range of photographic styles from experts over the course of the week.
A great day out full of hints and tips throughout the day. Explanations of how a particular angle would work and in what context. Followed up with a great editing session where I learned so much about Luminar Neo.
It was good to see the various images from my colleagues and how we had all interpreted the conditions and environment on the day. Many thanks once again for a thoroughly enjoyable day. Looking forward to new dates already.
Just arrived home safe. Thanks for a great day — good fun, good people, great learning and actually good weather. See you all soon, either in the real world or online.
Thanks for all your help and advice on the Malham walk. I now feel like I can move away from auto and be less scared to use manual — might even get better photos.
An homage · 1934
It's not an actual aperture — you're right. The name is our homage to another group of photographers: The F/64 Group.
Founded in 1934 by Edward Weston, Ansel Adams, Willard Van Dyke, John Paul Edwards, Imogene Cunningham and Consuela Kanaga (among others), the F/64 Group set out to capture the world through their cameras with accuracy, beauty and honesty.
With the F/65 Group, we want our members to take that same approach — with a little more individuality, a little more creative expression, and a lot more time spent laughing with people who love photography too.
If your question isn't here, drop our tutor team a line — we reply within 72 hours.
Everything you could imagine (and more). Every workshop tour has a clear topic so you can pick the trip that's right for you — some focus on a single genre like landscapes or wildlife, others mix several across the week.
Either way, you'll get a real, hands-on teaching experience and learn everything you need to capture stunning images of where we go. You'll have a top instructor on hand to answer questions live, give you support, suggest ideas and help you shoot.
Every workshop is clearly labelled with the skill level it's suited to. Given that iPhotography is built to help beginner photographers start their photography adventure, most of our workshops are suitable for anyone picking up their first camera.
We never assume you have years of experience behind you on a beginner's workshop — everything is taken at a gradual pace so the learning curve isn't too steep. For longer-standing community members, you'll also see advanced tours that'll push your skills onto the next level.
Yes, of course. We have the allowance for attendees to bring along a non-photographer companion (partner, friend, etc.). Companions aren't included in our workshop days out, though they're welcome to attend at their own travel and cost where possible.
Check the workshop you're most interested in for a price breakdown of attending as a single shooter and the supplement fee for bringing a companion. If you have any questions about companions, please get in touch before booking.
Check the specific workshop tour you're interested in for the exact list of extras included. Each workshop differs slightly, but most include your hotel stay, breakfast, some internal travel and other little extras.
We aim to accommodate everyone's preferences when it comes to dietary requirements — just let us know any specifics after booking.
Where are they not? We're constantly researching new destinations to give photographers a different view of the world — UK, Europe, USA, Canada or further afield. Have a look further up the page to see the currently available tours.
If you'd like to suggest a destination, we'd love to hear it. Drop our tutor team a line at [email protected].
All costs are listed inside each individual workshop tour page. Every trip is different depending on destination, length of stay and any extra activities involved.
An F/65 Group tour is part photography holiday, part investment in yourself. It might be a once-in-a-lifetime trip you've been promising yourself — a big birthday, retirement, or just a chance to take a proper break from work with the camera you love.
We've hosted plenty of photo walks across the UK over the years — they're a lot of fun. Over time members have told us they want something bigger: more photography time, longer trips, more depth.
That's what an F/65 workshop is. Not one day — a few nights with a small group of photographers like you, chatting, snapping, laughing, eating a proper meal and having a glass or two of wine after a long day of shooting alongside your F/65 Group buddies. Where needed, we'll hand-pick local top photographers to give you the best experience, always backed by the iPhotography tutor team.
iPhotography is the team that runs your F/65 Group workshop tours. We'll arrange the hotel for the group to stay in from trip to trip, and act as your photography tutors and travel agents to make sure you get the best experience from our world adventures.
If you have a question or query before booking, contact our support team at [email protected] — or reach us via the FAQ & Help page.
We're always happy to hear more questions. Drop our tutor team a line at [email protected] — we aim to respond to every enquiry within 72 hours.
Yorkshire is open for booking now — and more F/65 adventures are in the making. Book your Yorkshire place, or register your interest in the trip that's calling you and you'll be first to hear when it opens for booking.
