Photographer of the Year 2025

There have only been 9 previous winners of POTY (Photographer of the Year) so this year’s champion is in a prestigious group.

In a change in approach our community have been voting for nominees all year long and the top 10 performing members formed this year’s shortlist. It was then down to you to decide on the overall winner of this top award.

Photographer of the Year is not about a one-off shot, this is about a selected body of work.

Jayne Williams

1st Place Winner – Jayne Williams

Congratulations to Jayne for being voted by our member community as the iPhotography 2025 Photographer of the Year!

Jayne, a former winner, is the first member to come back and claim the title of POTY after missing out in 2024. While awards don’t make a photographer better, it’s a great nod to her passion and development to continue to grow and improve.

This year each nominee for POTY were asked to select their strongest 5 images to form the showcase. Jayne’s images stretched the globe from the UK to West Coast USA and her adaptablity as a landscape photographer shines through with a strong style, great detail and elite compositions.

We are proud to see Jayne pick up the title of Photographer of the Year in a category that is always decided by just a handful of votes – and this year was no different!
